The 0.31.0 private pilot extension includes the one-time ESPN computer connection used for background refresh. If you already received that private pilot build, reload or update it in desktop Chrome before opening the weekly hub. If you do not have pilot access, contact the pilot; no payment is required.
When checked September 22, 2026, the public Chrome Web Store listing showed version 0.29.7 and described Draft Review. Its weekly bridge capability is unverified, so installing that store build is not a weekly setup remedy.

Let the site test the connection.
Open the weekly pilot in the same desktop Chrome profile as ESPN. Paste your ESPN link to see whether a weekly connection is detected or needs setup. Public leagues can still load directly when available.
Account discovery can find several ESPN leagues and match your teams. For a league connected directly, choose your team before saving it. Review the attention list, then open the reasons, source times, and any missing information.

The public store listing still supports completed Draft Review.
The weekly pilot can read supported league settings, rosters, matchups, and the selected team when the provider path is eligible. Normal private reads keep the ESPN session in Chrome. If you explicitly enable background refresh, the extension transfers only the required ESPN session values through a single-use account pairing so Draft Raccoon can encrypt them and refresh while the computer is off. Disconnect removes that saved session. Draft Raccoon cannot change a lineup, submit a waiver claim, accept a trade, or make a draft pick.

ESPN and Sleeper
The private pilot checks current eligibility per league. Standard, half-PPR, and PPR are the initial target where current data is available. Completed draft tools remain available for supported redraft snake leagues.
Weekly ESPN access is a private pilot. Browser-only connections stay on that device. If you sign in and explicitly enable background refresh, Draft Raccoon saves an encrypted read-only ESPN session and the latest successful league snapshot to your account until you disconnect.
